Fiber, am I eating enough?
I'm currently taking tablets long term and one of the side effects is constipation. I take DulcoEase but I'm wondering if they are doing more harm than good. I've developed a fissure which keeps opening every time I go.
So far my diet consists of All bran for breakfast with peppermint tea and water.
Lunch is wholemeal bread with peanut butter or sardines. A chocolate and whole banana smoothie with bone broth.
Dinner is often chicken or organic red meat with potatoes and broccoli or carrots.
Is there anything else I could be doing or is this enough fiber?
I drink mainly water, no caffeine or dairy (intolerant).
I'm scared to stop the DulcoEase as I've been taking them for 3 months, 2-3 a day and if I miss them I end up with pain.
