Back pain?

Had my SAH on 9/15.

Extreme lower back pain! On a scale of 1-10 this is about an 8!

Sharp pain on back, my lower right side so bad it feels like it comes through to my front, lower right abdomen (just above the incision). I e mailed my doctor, awaiting a response.

I think I had this in the hospital- but for the meds. My prescription of Oxycodone is almost out and I have been easing up on it due to the constipation. (alternating with Motrin.)

Anyone else have the back pain?
Thanks, ladies.

Back pain?

I too have the wierd ache and pain thing at times. My back pains from before surgery are a lot better. But you never know what is a little swollen and tender inside and what is laying on your various pieces and parts.

Re: Back pain?

I had terrible back pain & found out that it was from the way I was holding myself when walking & even when sitting. I was trying to protect my tummy & was just moving different. It may just go away for you. It also can just be swelling from something they took. The healing really hurts. I hope you feel better soon!

Re: Back pain?

My back pain was caused by a kidney infection. Once the antibiotics kicked in, my back felt fine. Sometimes achy from the time I spent on my BF's couch, but back in my own bed on my memory foam mattress I am doing much better.
