I tried sex and I have a cuff - intimacy questions

Ok so i was really really nervous but last night I finally had sex. I didnt want it to go in all the way, i had no idea how difficult it would be to tell how far its in! It was weird. I was like “ok just go half way” but it was difficult. I think if it went all the way in, i dont think it would hit my cuff. I didnt want to find out tho!

I am in medical menopause age 39 but I am on a low dose HRT compound cream and my vagina didnt hurt of feel dry at all, so that was good. I felt a little pinching but I think it was just my outer skin area, the pinching stopped after just a little bit.

How do we know how long the cuff is? How deep in there do I have until reaching the cuff? Man I really do not like having a cuff!! I am super paranoid about it.

To sum things up, sex didnt hurt, it felt pretty normal other than I didnt let it go all the way in because I am a big chicken.

Anyone else let it go all the way in and could you tell if it hits the cuff? Am I being paranoid for no reason?

The cuff is just the top part of your vagina sewn shut where they removed the cervix. There is no length to the cuff, its just where your vagina now ends, it usually does not result in any significant shortening of your vagina. Whatever depth you had before you probably have the same now. At first the cuff may be tender and not very elastic but as healing continues over the next while that improves.

Yeah i worded that wrong, i know how its created.... anyway i dont know how long it was before, dont know if my cervix was ever bumped or not? I would feel pain sometimes, maybe that was my cervix getting hit?
