Tomorrow is my surgery

Lucy, my surgery is on Thursday and I am scared too. Every time you have a bad thought, try to immediately replace it with a vision of yourself after surgery, healed, enjoying your life. You are not alone, and I will say a prayer for you tomorrow. I'm looking forward to reading your post-op posts!

Tomorrow is my surgery

Hi Lucy, my surgery is tomorrow as well. It's perfectly natural to be anxious and nervous about surgery. My doc said that if I wasn't nervous, he would be worried! Try some deep breathing, thinking of the place or people who make you feel most relaxed and at ease. Like LMKD said, look through the surgery and imagine yourself on the road to recovery! Just think, by tomorrow at this time, we'll be on the other side of this surgery thing and looking forward to a better tomorrow! (((HUGS))) and good thoughts coming your way!

Tomorrow is my surgery

good luck to you! My surgery is Wednesday, and I am scared to death...Scared of the unknown, leaving my 3 babies, (11, 9, and 5). My youngest son is autistic, I am just so scared. I have fibroids, and possibly endometriosis of the uterus, but since my tubal, my periods are terribly painful, and everytime I eat, I swell up like Im 5 months pregnant. (my doctor says my uterus has been the size of a 2 month pregnancy since march)...
Enough about me, good luck to everyone.

Tomorrow is my surgery

Aw, honey, I am nervous too, a little. After an initial freak-out I have tended to not think about it and hopefully won't too much tonight.

I haven't had much time to think about this, having SAH tomorrow and it has all happened very fast for me. I think I am lucky that way. I came here tonight to print out the list of things to bring to the hospital. It helped me pack within one small overnight bag and I was WAY over packed earlier!

I'm coping by focusing on the election and later will spend some time just hanging out with my honey. Deep down I am terrified of surgery and of course not looking forward to the recovery. Just let's get past the surgery safely, eh.

I'll be sending good thoughts your way tonight. Wishing you a perfect surgery tomorrow. Everything will be smooooth for you, as smooth as possible.
