I'm already so nervous. I couldn't sleep last night...and I still have tonight and tomorrow night to go...geez. I hope to at least sleep well in the hospital and come out refreshed....lol!!!

I am actually happy that the day is almost here. I am tired of the pain, being grumpy, tired and just not being me anymore. Sure I will need a little something to relax me when I get there, but for now I am positive

I guess I'm happy too this day finally here...my uterus has made me happy to get rid of it!!!

I wish you all well, this is the first step to change.... it is a journey. My advice is to make sure you have an advocate for you at the hospital that can stay by your side.... Yes there will be pain and discomfort, but with that comes healing too, and it will be managed.. Remember it is all temporary, whatever happens it will change... The BIG one, you will do NOTHING for a week. Just lay in bed, that is all you have to do. That will heal you faster than anything... and try to walk a little that will make the gas better. I can laugh now, be prepared for gas. I decided it is a good thing they give you morphine so you can laugh about it... there will be gas!!! Welcome to the Sisterhood!

I am so ready for 10:30 tomorrow morning. I never knew someone could be this excited over surgery. I am tired of bleeding this time it was from October 26th until this morning. Yeah go figure stops the day before surgery. To know that my pain will be going away. Yeah I know I have onset pain from surgery but after that free and clear not having to plan trips around "that week" not having to worry about accidents and not having to bend over in pain while walking through grocery store. Bring on my surgery! One happy mom!

That's too funny aliciacrouch! I've been bleeding heavily since 4SEP...luckily stopped for 3 days in Oct when doc put me on birth control ...in time for daughters wedding (such a relief). I too have my surgery tomorrow and haven't bled since yesterday morning. I don't miss it though. Especially the "accidents"...always had to know where ladies room was whenever I was out.
