What a year 47 was (2010)
The year started off with increased pain with my 2 a month periods. As both got worse, I gave in and went to the doctor. Something I hadn't done for 9 years (I know not good). After many tests and lots of pain I was told I had many large fibroids that were to large to ignore. If that wasn't enough, the next morning I found my father had died in his sleep. He was 78 and had many health problems. I was his caregiver. While planning his funeral, I was also researching fibroids and how to treat them. After many hours, I decided to have a hysterectomy. Finally, my husband's depression increased because of his worrying about me (lots of bladder pain and peeing which has continued even after surgery), my father's death, and our every growing financial problems. Well now I am 48 and hopefully they will find out what is causing my bladder problems, I will rediscover why I went into teaching, my husband's depression will improve and all will be wonderful again. Sorry this is so long, but it feels good to vent.
