Squishy uterus

Good morning girls,

When I had my ultrasound, I was told my uterus was squishy feeling. It should be firm. I have prolapses, tilted uterus, pelvic congestion, and adneomyoisis (sp?). Could the squishy uterus be from the adne. or the pelvic congestion? I was just curious. I guess I should have asked my gyn. when he told me that, but I just did't think about it. I've had a million questions since then, I guess we all do. I'm making me a list and going to ask him when I go in for my pre-op. He'd better be prepared for a long question/answer session. lol.

Squishy uterus

I had a boggy uterus, too. No adeno, though. I had hyperplasia and and multiple fibroids.

Frankly (and I know this isn't a real medical term), I think my uterus was "tired". I sure would have been if I had been carrying around all that stuff all those years!!

One tip I would share is that if you've got a list of questions started, mail the list to your doc several days before your pre-op appointment. I mailed a list to mine, and they were so appreciative because they were able to have my answers ready for me when I showed up. It made the appointment much more orderly.

Good luck to you!

My gyn gave me his e-mail address and said any questions to just e-mail them. Well I tried it and within 20 minutes he had responded. It was really nice to get the answer that way. In writing, is really nice especially since we often hear what we want to and don't what we would rather ignore!
