LAVH: Surgery tomorrow

Having my LAVH tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. starting to get a little nervous. I have my bag packed. I've cleaned the house top to bottom. Doing some last minute laundry. I'm having a long shower tonight and a quick one in the morning since I don't have to be at hospital till 10:30 a.m. Kiddies are all set for next 5 days. I'm suppose to be in for 2 days. Have my table beside setup for when I get home with 2 weeks of my normal meds ready when needed. Drugstore knows one of my parents will be coming to pick up any new prescriptions. I also have new sheets and a bedspread to put on before I leave so I can slip right into bed when I get home. Any other suggestions or advice for me?

Hi, am scheduled for surgery a week tomorrow. One tip I have is order a grabber (such as those used by old people) as after my c-sections I had such trouble picking things up off the floor, it became invaluable! You can buy them on e-bay. You sound very organised and calm! I am already freaking out and I have a week to go. Keep in touch and good luck. x

I knew I forgot something, luckily they have them at our local dollar store. I'll grab one tonight when I grab supper. Thanks.

Thanks everyone! Just shoving the last of the food I'm allowed to have in my mouth before midnight...lol. At least they said I can drink clear fluids till 4 hours before surgery.
