Help - ovaries removed still bleed next step hysterectomy

Hi I am Nicola from the UK

I had my ovaries and tubes removed last july and have since stated to bleed on a monthly cycle. Urine test show no problems but blood tests show that I am still producing normal levels of oestrogen even though I have no ovaries.

Feeling very nervous about what is going on - has anybody else heard of this. There is now a possibility of a full hysterectomy

It is possible that a small peice of one ovary was left, and in this case, estrogen can still be produced. This may explain the cyclic bleeding. I'm not a doc, it was just a thought.

Good luck on your journey and I hope all goes well for you
