Hysterectomy with a Diastasis Recti Repair?!?

I have had one heck of a week. Between Monday and yesterday, I have been diagnosed with FIbromyalgia, Undefined Auto-Immune Disease (connective tissue related), Acute Uterine FIbroids, Endometriosis, PCOS, Acute Diastasis Recti, and possibly a recurrence of cervical cancer. Needless to say... I am a bit overwhelmed.

My rheumatologist is working hard to get a better handle on the auto-immune disease and fibro... but it will take a while to get that all under control. However, my Gynecologist thinks my best option is to do a hysterectomy within the next 2-3 months (possibly sooner). I am done having kids, and don't want to go through chemo and such again, so I think she is right. However, I have questions and she got called away halfway through our meeting for a delivery.

My main questions are: Has anyone had a hysterectomy and a repair to their Diastasis Recti at the same time without doing a tummy tuck? Did your GYN do the hysterectomy and DR repair, or did you have a different surgeon do the DR repair? And did any of you happen to have an auto-immune disease or fibromyalgia, and did it effect your recovery process?
