Hysteropexy

Hi Tefal here. I'm new to this but had a laparoscopic and vaginal sacrohysteropexy 5 days ago. My uterine prolapse had got progressively worse being an inch outside my vagina I also had a prolapsed rectum as well, thanks to 2 x 10lb babies. I refused a hysterectomy 4 years ago as I wasn't in menopause and ever since researched alternatives. I wanted to preserve my cervix even though I am now 60 as I find it important for sex! I know it is early days but the hysteropexy was a great decision. I am feeling much better than I expected. The five keyholes are glued and are all below bikini line except one in the belly button. The heavy feeling and looking like a man has also gone. Home after three days. Of course major major bloating due to the air pumped in, I can only wear a nightie. but I'm sure it will be all ok in six weeks.
