Starting to 2nd Guess Myself ???

I am scheduled for a TVH on May 4th (keeping ovaries)/Bladder Hitch and I believe A (& or) P repairs.

I read on another post about a sister starting to feel better the closer the surgery gets. This is happening to me GO FIGURE!!
The reason for the TVH is severe cramping and excessive bleeding/clots. My last P was pretty crampy and alot of blood lose but it didn't last as long as it has in the past. (usually 10-12 days or more) with continual spotting. I know I need the bladder thing done and the A & P repairs, Is this normal to start second guessing. I've read some pretty severe reasons for having a Hyst and kind of feel that if things are shaping up maybe I should wait. If I wait I'm afraid it will just start up again. I had a sonhystogram recently done where they injected all this fluid into my uterus, maybe that is the cause of the change in my cycle.

What to do!!!! Help,

Lisa

Starting to 2nd Guess Myself ???

I think we look for something to give a 'reason' not to go forward... I said the same thing to myself - it wasn't as bad as he had been before. Well I've come to the conclusion that it will be that bad again at some point (if not worse).

And maybe our uteruses know what we're planning (they do have a mind of their own, I swear) and are trying to trick us into thinking they will 'behave'. Yea, like it'll cooperate for any length of time...

Starting to 2nd Guess Myself ???

My surgery is April 11, but I knew about since Jan. All these months have been an emotiomal rollercoaster. I second guessed myself a few times and almost called twice to cancell the surgery. I think everybody goes through these things. If you've had these problems for years, I don't think that they've gone away or gotten better. Sometimes I think we'd like to trick ourselves into thinking everything has gotten better, just so we don't have to have the surgery, but really we need this surgery to make ourselves feel better. I'm so scared, but I know in my heart I need this, so I can get on with my life and feel better. J.D.
