TAH: check in at hospital in 9 hours

Ok, so I've been waiting for tomorrow for months. I've had my good days and bad. Mood swings that accompanied insomnia and extreme nervousness. I'm now 9 hours away from having to check in at the hospital and all I feel is scared to death of this enema I have to do NOW!

I've read everyone else's posts about their prep and am now feeling very envious.

Hopefully I won't mess this up and surgery will happen as planned in 11 hours.

Thanks everyone for answering all of my silly questions and for all of the reassurance over the past few months. I'm sure i'll have more after surgery.

Hi svick I have my surgery in 9 hours also! Have to be there in 7 hours of course and you are not alone I am scared to death too. I pray both of us will be one of the fortunate few who have little difficulty.I will be thinking about you in the early morning hours!!

Svick - I hear you on the bowel prep. I had preop and I was told I would be spending most of the afternoon and night before in the bathroom - oh boy!!

OK finally I hear those darling bathroom grumbles in my stomach! This stuff better start doing its thing or I am going to have to say in a few hours,no IV yet I have to go to the bathroom again! GOOD GRIEF. Prayers again for us both..see you on the other side Finally!
