TVH: Total vaginal hysterectomy - how much about swelling should I expect?

I'm a scheduled for a TVH in January and am wondering how much abdominal swelling I should expect. Since I won't have any abdominal incisions i'm hoping not much. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated-thanks!

I had lavh and had no swelling at all.

Everyone is different on this. Some women report no swelling, others have some, and others yest have quite a bit. Here are a couple of articles that discuss swelling, and also care:

I had a TAH BSO, and had swelly belly. I wore sweats and old shorts for 12 weeks. After that I slowly moved into wearing my normal clothing. My swelly belly would get worse by the end of the day, or if I pushed too hard. It took about 6 months before I could wear whatever I wanted.
