Yess it is one week post op and I feel good to have made it no pain for me as well just some soreness. I started walking short distance the day after my surgery to the mail box. I'm able to walk down the street and back home now. As far as driving I started back yesterday. It was funny at 1st . Had to readjust everything with my seating and get comfortable but it was a eazy 1st day. It's raining here in Mississippi so today I plan to get plenty of rest my incisions are itchy as well that's how I know the healing process is coming along well . After 4x csections you get used to the itching

I was able to walk and urinate in the hospital, and I was discharged w/in 24 hours.
However, being home has been different. I seem to have a good day and then a bad day. Mostly it is because of nausea. The first four days I had diarrhea, and the last three days nothing. I am eating, drinking water, walking, taking 1-2 stool softeners a day, but nothing is helping now. I only take 1/2 Norco when necessary (at night). Tomorrow I get to have my staples out.
Anyone else having days of nausea to the point where they feel like passing out? Or am I being dramatic?

I have been having nausea on and off that makes me feel weak and light headed as well, today it’s been a week since I had my surgery and I seem to have one good day and three bad days. I hope that you start to feel better soon from what I hear everyone’s recovery is different and this was a major surgery and will take time to feel normal and heal.

Day 5 for me.
In the middle of last night I had the sharpest stabbing pains that kept coming and going. I'm sure this was related to gas. Also had a night sweat.
Another BM today. I've never been so happy to have a BM. It really gives me some relief.
Excited to go for my walk later outside. I'll be more happy when I can get back to my 5 mile daily walks. I'm beginning to miss that.

1 week down! So happy to be on the other side of this. My spotting turned to bright red last night and was a bit heavier than what it has been, I passed a tiny clot this morning but other than that all is well. My husband is taking me out today for a curbside lunch and then ice cream. I’m going stir crazy in the house!

I'm a bit late to the party but I'm here! I had a vaginal hysterectomy on May 21st removing my uterus and cervix (tubes were removed two years ago) and leaving the ovaries. The surgery went smoothly and only took an hour and a half of the three hours scheduled. I had a rough time coming out of anesthesia because my blood pressure bottomed out and it took 45 minutes to get it back up so I could go to my room. My husband was fortunately able to stay with me for my whole recovery but wasn't allowed to leave my room the entire time due to COVID precaution. Once settled in my room, I had immense cramping and cried like a baby until they came in and gave me IV pain meds and that helped immediately. I had the best team of Doctors and Nurses at University of Washington and am forever grateful to them!
I felt amazing the next day and got the catheter out and was sent home by 11am. I have had a great recovery so far and every day I feel better than the day before. The only discomfort I have had was some constipation the first few days but now I am off the hardcore pain meds, aside from one at bed time, and sticking to Tylenol and Ibuprofen which helps keeps things moving along.
I am so glad to have all of you here to discuss our recovery and what each of us is going through. I hope everyone is healing nicely and getting all the love and support you deserve through this time.

Hi ladies my doctor set my appointment to see him again in six weeks I’m 1 week post op and I’m feeling good. I would really like to go back to work at week 3. I do office work no heavy lifting or hard labor. Of course I would need a release from the doctor stating I’m clear to work. If I call my doctors office do you think I could see an appointment for the Dr to clear me to work at three weeks?

One week out!! 🙌🙌 Such a blessing! So far things are going well. Have a lot of pain, more like pulling, on my left side. My uterus was clear over there due to the size of fibroids, so I don’t know if it’s from cutting it out or what. Anyone else???

Woke up this morning really tired and existed can't get out of bed right now. 1st time really experiencing this type of weakness and fatigue since surgery. Going to start back taking my B12 and multivitamins to see if that will help some. I know my hormones levels are off right now which could be a contributing factor in all this I'm pretty sure of.
