a sad lunch

Hi guys... today I went to lunch with my family and at the table right behind us was a very pregnant mom having a baby shower! She had a sash on that said "Mom to be" and she was opening all of these really cute baby gifts.
I just thought what a strange twist of fate that I have this experience today. I am doing ok most of the time with all of this but I still struggle. It's hard to believe that six months ago I was pregnant and that since then I've had a miscarriage and now having a hysterectomy.
Well.... anyway just feeling a little blue today.....

Oh no... you poor soul.

I'm going through a period of feeling angry at the smugness of mum's to be. I'm 38 and had my TAH on 14 November.

Recently I saw Happy Feet with some friends children and cried through most of it because of all the Mums with young uns there.

BUT.... I am so much happier after my surgery!!!!! What it feels like to be healthy.

I also am experienceing some of this. Although I have adopted a sibling group of 3 about 6 years ago, I am feeling the blueness about not experienceing their births or any births. My sister in law had had three, and my sister is now expecting and I am just jealous, and thankfup. I will be praying for you, but know partically what you are feeling1

Having had a miscarriage myself, I understand your feelings. I'm so sorry your having a blue day. At times like this, I spoil myself to a "ME day" and do whatever makes me feel special and remind myself that one day my little one and I will me in heaven. In the meantime, I know it's in better Hands and look forward to when we meet.

Hugs to ya!

Anonyaa,

I know what you mean about the strange twists of fate. I too was expecting 6 months ago and had a miscarriage. My hyster date is 5 days before my EDD. I am sorry for your loss.

Wow! I am so sorry! I will be praying for you. Is the date okay with you? Would it help to change it? Is it medicall okay to change it? Just wondering. I have never miscarried, but I do suffer from Barren womb emotional issues.
