How long does it take to get a cold once being around sick ppl

Thank you MJ for putting my fears to rest..I dont like taking meds at all not even a asprin.
sounds funny but ever since i was a kid i always had a hard time swollowing them...they get stuck in my throat for hours..even had a few times days..
anyways...its funny cause I havnt been out of house much since i got a bladder infection a few weeks ago of all places a walk-in-clinic(storage of family Dr.s here)...wall to wall sick ppl and back to same place last fri to get pre-op papers filled for my pre-op that was on the Mon.....rolls eyes...with that an the stress of it all i stopped working due to the fear of grems and working as a cashier with money an sick ppl daily...
now to come in contract with a invite to dinner to a bad cold virus sorry has me a little freaked...nevermind whats going on at the hospital iam going to has a major breakout...43 comfirmed cases so far an a few death..
Iam trying not to let it get to me but cant say iam not scared..

sorry for the long vent...sitting here alone with no one to talk to but my crazy cat named Gizmo ...lol...

all i can do now is sit it out and wait another 5 days ...sighs....ty for letting me vent ...
