No Date: Deciding on a date

I'm waiting for the dr's office to call & schedule surgery (laparotomy hysterectomy, leaving ovaries) I'm trying to decide when to do it before they call.

My delimma is my son is in the middle of baseball season. Will I be able to sit & watch baseball games post op? I feel like this wouldn't be too strenuous but some ppl tell me I won't be able to. TIA!

I had davinci surgery and I was in no shape to sit at my sons football games for at least a week. After that I could only make it through half a game because I was sooo tired.

I've been studying all these abbreviations. I think I just figured out that I'm having TAH LSO!
I had to call the dr yesterday to see if he was taking my cervix. I had no idea there were so many different options.

You may miss a few right after surgery, but likely will be able to make them after the first couple of weeks.

I would expect to miss at least 2 weeks, if not more. Sitting up for more than 15 minutes wears me out and makes me hurt inside! It's hard to schedule when you have kids, or any life at all. There's never a good time to be out of action for weeks!
