Will waiting 2 months mess up my chances of daVinci?

I don't know- but can share what my fibroid has been up to the past 6 months.
Prior to my ablation in Nov. 11, my fibroid was a petite, trim 3 cm. Fast forward to my annua (lin March) and 2nd sonohistogram and that sweet little thing was 9 cm. It managed to grow 6 cm in 4 months!

I received my surgery date at the end of march....for then end of this month. I am pretty sure it is still growing as my bleeding is becoming more extreme and even longer lasting...in addition to a pudgy looking belly!

Now, I just have to finish up this waiting game....for two more weeks!

I had my DaVinci on 3/12. I was diagnosed with my 20 week sized Fibroid-ridden uterus the end of December, and by the time of surgery it had increased to about a 22 week size. So it grew a little. But like someone mentioned above, fibroids can vary. Some grow slowly or very little, others come up fast out of nowhere. But my surgery had originally been scheduled for February, and I had to reschedule due to my husband having field training he couldn't get time off from to be with me post op, and I really don't think the month made a whole lot of difference in terms of tumor growth. Go with your gut, ask your doc's oppinion - do what feels best for you to get yourself healthy. Best of luck, and hugs to you!

Your so welcome. Just wish I could ease someones mind. It really wasn't that bad and I really I'm so glad I did it. I don't know if age or health have anything to do with it but I'm 41 and a little overweight( 5' 8" and 150lbs). Just go in with the right frame of mind and it will be over before you know it.
