Only One Week From Today!

Hello to all my wonderful hystersisters out there!!! Well only 1 week before I go to stay at the castle. One more week before some of this pain can end. New pain will begin though, I know that. I have been working on get the house cleaned and everything in order, but it seems that once I feel that all is done, it is time to start all over.LOLOLOLOL Gotta love those DK'S, and DH of mine. Sooo helpful they are!!! Yep sir reeeeeedy. lol I pulled a good one on them this weekend though, I decided I was not going to cook or clean for the whole weekend. Everytime one of them filled the sink with dirty dishes I would say,(HELLOOOOOO, these I didn't dirty those dishes, you can rinse them and put them in the d/w. I AM NOT GOING TO DO IT!!!) AND I AM NOT COOKING EITHER!!! SO THERE!!! HAHA. I guess they thought Mom was having a break down, so THEY DID IT!!!! And cooked for themselves too. I AM SO PROUD OF MY DK'S AND DH.LOLOLOLOL
OK well thanks for letting me vent ladies, it SURE DOES THE BODY GOOD!!!!

way to go shelly! The kids will be fine and DH will only find out what you have to do each day to provide the family with the home they are used to.
I wish you well in your preparations. My surgery is 3 weeks away. I have done some shopping and slowly getting ready to go. Since I work two jobs if I cleaned the house that well they would think they are in the wrong house!
How are you feeling about the surgery? Any questions from the kids? I seem to think a lot about it.

Hi Shelly! I am scheudled for July 18th also. I am so ready to have this surgery and be done with it.

I am also scheduled for next monday the 18th. I try not thinking too much about it ...bauce then I really get worked up and scared. I had my pre-op last week ..I felt a lot better about things. I week from now ..I will be under.

I know! I had pre-surgical testing this past Friday. At times I am very nervous and other times I am as calm as could be.

s to all of you ladies in waiting. The waiting part was nerveracking, to say the least. I gathered alot of excellent advice from this site before my surgery...one of which was to buy some underwear 2 sizes too big to wear post-op. The other was to make sure to prepare everything I would need beside my bed (remote, place for meds...etc). I tried to keep busy to keep my mind off of the upcoming surgery....I had a massage a few days before and that really helped.

Well hello ladies. Good luck on the the 18th to you all too. I will be thinking and praying for all of us. I did absolutely nothing today. Lol So, I guess all that cleaning that I done last week, I will have to start all over again.LOL Well I guess it will keep me busy this week. LOL Well next Tuesday at this time I hope we all are resting really well, getting Lots of good drugs, and keeping everything down!!! Hope our rooms are as quiet as possible, and we are sleeping like some of us have not done in a LONG TIME!!!
