not for the weak stomachs!

i woke up earlier to some major cramping, so i took a bath in the jacuzzi tub thinking it might help.

has anyone ever taken a bath while on ur period and passing clots? i have got to remember never to do that!

i passed 2 of the hugest clots i've ever seen! it was so gross and i dunno how in the world something that big could even come outta me! the cramps finally subsided about an hour later, of course, after i took 4 ibuprofen. but still..........are they just gonna get worse? i've always passed huge clots, but never something so big!!!!! i couldn't believe they even went thru the drain. i couldn't control them coming out!

i'm sorry to be gross. but since we all seem to be sharing more inner things about each other than we would ever tell just everyday people, i thought maybe someone could let me know on here if this is normal and if i'm gonna continue doing this while i wait for surgery.

again - sorry for the gross aspect of it.

not for the weak stomachs!

I gather by reading your post you are still waiting for you surgery. I passed huge clots and bled heavily for months before my surgery.I even ended up in the hospital needing 4 pints of blood...then 6 months on lupron injections so I wouldn't have a period. That gave my blood time to build up to normal because my doctor wouldn't risk doing my surgery while my blood was so low. Atleast call your doctor and tell him/her and see what they suggest. I will keep you in my prayers.

not for the weak stomachs!

faith:

i'm waiting for an IUD right now. they don't have any in stock, but as soon as one comes in, i get it. that's suppose to slow down the bleeding or stop it, until i have surgery. most months, i'm borderline hemorraghing. the dr. knows that. i just started seeing him 2 wks ago. that's why he wants to try the IUD for now. i'm gonna call him on monday, though, and let him know what happened today. that was just too gross. i'm used to passing them, but nothing that big. it scared the daylights outta me!

thanx for ur input!

If you have clotting, you may have Adenomyosis.

not for the weak stomachs!

Hi,

I have always had lots of big clots- since I was 10. I just thought it was normal until talking to my friends about it. It suprised me that they weren't the same.
