Thanks!
Hi there,
I finally got around to looking at the posts, and wanted to thank everyone for their kind words and input.
I'm now 13 days post op, and while it's difficult dealing with the side effects (especially the self catheter), I'm getting better day by day.
The doctors say they didn't see any signs of the cancer outside of the cervix, so that's good news...I guess I'm finally on the way to recovery.
Thanks again for your messages, it was so nice to come back and see all the support I've been given.
Best,
Kristine

Dear Kristine,
Congratulations on making it through! Healing takes a while, so as others have said, be sure that you take the time to rest. I'm surprised that I still have pain, since my surgery was March 6th. It's not bad, but . . . it does remind me that I had surgery not so long ago. Sorry to hear about the self-catheter, but I hope you can soon leave that behind.
It's wonderful to hear that your cancer was confined to one area!
 s!
