And when you are bored....

what do you do? I think one of my Top 10 worries is that I will be bored, bored, bored while recouping at home. I have plently of books and I love to read..but, that can only last so long. So..any suggestions? What does everyone have planned to keep them occupied without stress and strain?

A million thanks!

...ok here's the thread...

...that talks about this. Hope it helps. Believe it or not, most of the time I ended up gabbing on the phone (when I wasn't drugged and sleepy) or vegetating, drooling, with that glazed look in front of the telly(kinda like the men get when they have control of the remote...)
....thought I'd get a lot more redaing done, but it just didn't happen!
Good luck...hope you get some ideas here!

And when you are bored....

Hi Cindy,

Believe it or not, the first few days at home I was either asleep or almost sleeping. One of my friends talked to me during that time and told me I sounded like I was drugged. Funny thing....I don't even remember talking to her

I, too, had books to read. Have I read any? Nope! Not a one, except the Hystersister book. I do a little jourmeling each day so I'll be able to share what I went through with my kids(should they ever need it)

Besides resting, resting, resting, you could drop us a post to let us know how your doing. You probably will have friends/family calling to see how you are.

I, too, was wondering what I would do after surgery, but now I wonder how the day goes by so fast
