Hello sisters!!!

I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I am finally feeling better. The only pain I have now is my back and some minor cramping (which I suppose is the pain I am going to have to live with) or it could just still be healing pain. I actually have some energy, and have even gone so far as doing the dishes. Of course afterwards my nerve pain in my back comes on with a vengance, but at least I can get up and down off the couch to DO the dishes without having DH pull me up..

I am seeing the pain clinic Thursday for my back and I pray that it goes well. I also had to reschedule my Upper GI because I had the HIDA scan and UGI scheduled within hours of each other for Friday and they told me this morning when I called that I should not have them done that close together. So now I have to wait until the 29th for the UGI. It really would have been nice to have them tell me that WHEN I made the appts the first time!!

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all for being there and helping me through all of this, I will need all of the support again soon unfortunatly, but for now I feel as though I am able to actually fend for myself.

(((Pam))) I'm so glad to hear things are looking up for you. Even washing the dishes is better than feeling like you can't get up off the couch, isn't it?

Sorry to hear about the scheduling snafu... hopefully the time between now and the 29th will pass quickly and you'll have some answers then.

Thanks ladies....

I think I jinxed myself with this post!!!!!!!!!!! I knew better than to get all excited about having one good morning!

I am all of the sudden VERY depressed and feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster!!!!! I am having alot of back pain and what I assume is gallbladder pain after eating lunch. I am also just totally WORN OUT!! I guess I should focus on the good points to my day instead of the bad, but it is just so hard to do!

I pray that I have at least one good moment in everyday and will not talk about it!

Slowly but surely I will get there!!

I know all to well how you must feel! I had been feeling so much better since I was laid off from my job. Tummy was down, spirits were good. Than...I actually got hungry and went out to dinner and actually ate some real food! Well.... things went down hill from there. I've been trying to watch it and I'm getting better, but will probably take me two weeks to recover from one day of eating.

I'm sending s because I really and truly understand how you feel. We have one good day and we hope that there are more to come!

(((Pam))) did you eat something kinda high in animal fat for lunch? If you're like me, every now and then you get a craving for something like that... and it's notorious for triggering gall bladder attacks. Just wondering.

Linda, I will sum it up in one word.....

HAMBURGER!!! I now feel like I need to vomit! I am trying to type to keep my mind off of it but it is not working. The pain even broke through my pain meds which almost never happens.

I had been doing so wonderful and on Friday we ate Mexican food and I simply thought I was going to die! I got so nauseated and bloated I feel like it's going to take me weeks to make up for one day of eating.

You may want to start to keeping a food diary. It is possible that some of the thing you're eating are irritating your symptoms. I've found out thru some various tests that certain foods and me just don't agree. Also thru trial and error.
