KarenAnn, you are so right and I am so ready to proceed with things! I had my appointment with a cardiologist Monday. I was fitted with a heart monitor and tomorrow morning I go in for a nuclear stress test. It's about a 4 hour test and they insert radioactive dye intraveinously at two different points during the day. The test tells them almost everything you could ever want to know about your heart. It will show any damage and provides a clear cut answer about proceeding with surgery. My scheduled surgery date is a week from today, but it all rides on tomorrow's test results.

Pre-Op Today-Surgery may be delayed...

I went yesterday for the nuclear stress test that would tell them for sure whether or not I can have surgery Thursday. The technician told me the bundle block showed up many times during the testing, but the real determining factor would be what the pictures of the heart show. They took about 35 minutes of pictures that the doctor will use to give me an answer. I'm supposed to get a call Tuesday to find out if I can have surgery Thursday.
