Another good check up

I had my third follow up appt today. Before hand had a chest xray....all fine, annual mammo....all fine and then today the pap smear and exam. My gyn said everything looked fine and now the wait for the pap results to come back. If all goes well.....she said I will have one more 3 month appt and then go to every 6 months for awhile. My gyn is wonderful and I love talking to her but I will be so happy to not have to go so often....These appts are both re-assuring when the results are all in, but are so stressful the week before and the week or so waiting for the results.
I cant believe it has almost been a year since my hyst. This site has been my lifeline so many times....Thank you thank you thank you. I am so grateful for all of the support this site gives to all the ladies.

I know the waiting is the hardest part. But just think after this you get to start your 6 month check ups. That's great. Then it will be yearly check ups. Your on your way.

I'm sure that Pap will come back just fine. And I admit I'm totally jealous of 6 month exams as I only get 2 months between exams. You're doing great! Ellen

So glad to hear things are going well, as you head for that amazing 1 year mark...

I just want to thank Chris for all the help she has given me - she is the one who told me about hystersisters, and was the first person I "met" with the same diagnosis. Seeing her move further on down the line dividing BC from AC is really encouraging to me!
