I won't be a bag lady much longer

I saw the Dr. who did my original surgery this morning and we set a date of June 6 for the colostomy reversal. I will be in the hosptal for about 5 days. He will try to fix my bladder while he reverses the colstomy It tipped backwards affter the first surgery and causes much discomfort. For the past 9 months I'he had to jump up and down about 20 times, sometimes do a few sommersualts in order to fully empty it. The Dr. was very optimistic, but said that if there is too much scar tissue from the previous surgeries, or any tumors that didn't show on the scan he won't be able be able to proceed with the reversal. Listening to these worst case scenarios was a little discouraging, but this is one last hurdle, (a tying up of loose ends!. I know that God's will for me is perfect, so I will awaken to the best possible news, even if not what I hope.

I can't even begin to imagine what a relief it will be to reverse that colostomy! Even though surgery is no fun, you must be thrilled. I pray that everything goes well. :-)
