OUCH sex question

Kath,

Same problem here... when I have pain it is deep. Try positions where you can limit/control the depth. Don't want to get too graphic here. You can PM me if you need some ideas.

Been dealing with this [off and on] for 14 years and my DH is also REALLY sensitive about hurting me. I know exactly what you mean. It does get frustrating.

As far as treating the source of the pain. Could be scar tissue. I know it has been scar tissue or lesions from the endo (documented surgically) every time I have had that pain. What can be done if it is scar tissue ... a surgeon can go in via a laparoscopy and remove it. IF you decide to go this route ...make sure that if you have a choice of surgeons that you get one that does lots of laps. One that does not know what he/she is doing could cause you to form additional scar tissue and you don't need that.

Take care and hope you find a resolution to this soon!

OUCH sex question

Hi Kath sometimes a little vaginal estrogen can help soften up the tough scar tissue inside your vagina... maybe your DR would let you try some vaginal premarin cream to see if it might help? The estrogen (there are others, but Premarin is the quickest to work) can sometimes help make the tissues more moist and elastic, which for some women is enough to greatly reduce the discomfort during penetration.

It might be worth a try, anyway?
s,
-Linda
