Lost Threads?

http:// ladies,
What happend to the treads dated from 5/24/03 9:29pm to 5/25/03 5:42 am? I'm also wondering how to maximize the smilie box so that I can make a print out?

Hi Dossie For the smilies, if you click on "Get More" in the smilie box it will open it up... then you just click on the maximize icon in the upper right corner of the box.

Is there a specific thread you're looking for that is missing? I see that there are no threads between those two times but I'm not sure whether there were any posted then.

Lost Threads?

I had trouble logging onto the site earlier today. May have been technical difficulties and no threads were posted as no one was able to get onto the site???

Lost Threads?

Kathy, I'm still not able to get a print out of these cuties. Perhaps it's a MAC thing. Or, perhaps I'm just confused. When I click on the maximize button nothing happens. I've also had trouble getting onto the web site and often once in, my computer acts like it's frozen or it will actually crash Netscape. This doesn't happen all the time but enough to wonder if, "Will it work this time?"

I'm looking for the thread from cemetarywoman. It was posted 5/24/03 sometime around 11:31 pm.

Thank you for your help.

Lost Threads?

Hi Dossie,

I did a search and found one post from her:

It's here:

https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...hreadid=102541

She started the thread on the 22nd, and there were several responses after that - you replied to it yesterday.

To search for a post from a specific member, click onto the search link above the drop-down box at the top right. Then you can search by member name, or by partial name (in this case I searched the member name woman, as a partial name).

Did you know that if you have enabled e-mail notification, you'll receive an e-mail whenever someone replies to a thread that you have posted to, also?

I hope this helps.

Oops - I see I was typing while Catherine was posting!!

Thank you, ladies, for your help. I did know about the e-mail response. However, often when I'd click on it all I'd get was a blank page. Then I discovered if I clicked on the other link I'd get to where I want to go. Still have not been able to make a print out of the smilies but I've written enough down that I think I can have some fun. You ladies are wonderful and full of ideas and help. Oh, one more question. Why do I have a little red jewel on the princess logo next to my name? Is it a "red warning, Will Robinson, red warning! This lady is taking up too much of our time!" warning for other ladies?

Have a MAC too, but have had no problems as you describe. Hmmm.

(((((((((dossie)))))))))))))))

on the smiles.
Just click get more. Leave the box the size it comes, right click in a bare spot in the box then highlight print, and click ,should work.

Hi Dossie,

That's a good question - when I look at your posts, I don't see anything next to your name (or under your name) at all. :eyes:

I've been having problems getting the smilies, too, and found that another way is to scroll down below the reply box, underneath where you press to submit the post. You'll see a box titled forum rules. If you click onto the underlined word smilies, a page will come up.

We also have a tech forum where we can ask questions. I'm going to post there and see if one of our more techie hostesses can answer both of your questions (and tell me why I can't get the smilies, either).
