frequent painfull urination and vaginal cuff cellutitis

Hi
I'm at 4 weeks post op. Since the surgery I've been urinating on the average of 20 times a day. Very painful at the end. (bladder infection?) I also have vaginal cuff cellulititis. And my lower back is letting me know that it wants attention too.I have been on antibiotics for 3 weeks. Auguementin, cipro and metragel. 3 different times with the metragel. 2 times with the cipro. 10 days with the auguementin. Am currently on cipro 500 for 2 weeks. And now, of course, yeast infection! My dr. set up an appointment with an uroligist for next week, and at that time they will schedule a cystoscopy to try and find out the problem. Here's my questions
What causes cuff cellulititis? Why hasn't the antibiotics knocked it out? And cleared up the bladder infection? The dr suggested last week to quit drinking liquids and I was still going to the bathroom all the time. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
What I'm saving on pads I'm spending on T.P.

Tay,
I've never heard of cuff cellulitis but did find a few threads on the topic:
https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...threadid=99761
https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...threadid=86297
https://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/sho...threadid=80979

These threads are over on the Post Op message forum. You may want to post over there as you are fairly recent post op. Perhaps some of the sisters there will have experience with the infection problem also.

I'm sorry you're having so many problems Tay. I hope you feel better soon.
