Great News Karen

I am so happy things are turning out well for your son. It may be a long recovery, but hopefully everything will be back to normal before too long.

A prayer for my son.....

Karenann, this is good news.

Now, though, I'd bet it's time for er even more -- for the strength to get everyone through the long, hard haul that recovery will be for all of you.

As a mother, I understand that the "breath-holding" doesn't end. But I do thank G-d that it wasn't worse...

to you all,

Audrey

I am glad that he made it thru surgery okay. Also I pray that the weakness on one side will quickly resolve it self.

A prayer for my son.....

Dear Karenann,

I haven't been on this site for a while. I recovered from surgery in time to enjoy a business trip to Hawaii. Tears came to my eyes when I heard what you and your son have been going through. I feel that I can go through anything if it happens to me, but when it happens to someone I love, I feel that I don't have any control.

My heart and thoughts are with you as you go through this ordeal. I am confident that your strength, perspective and positive attitude have been passed onto him and he will get through this. As we have all learned, healing takes time and improvement will be seen as each day passes. We are praying for a 110% recovery!

Good luck to you both.

A prayer for my son.....

Thanks for all your prayers and concern.
Tim is home. His left arm is still floppy as related to his bicep and shoulder nerve. The docs are optimistic that full function will return. Tim has always been my child that lives kinda on the edge. Loved his dirt bike and had hopes of having a street bike. Now he is ready to sell the dirt bike and is glad to forget the street bike forever. My hope is that this brush with mortality pulls him back in.
Right now I just can't imagine ever letting go of him again.
One day at a time, as always!!!
