Make Sure You Get the Right Med

I'm thinking that a problem I've had for a couple weeks now might have been solved earlier if I had been prescribed the right meds. After the catheter came out 5 days post-op, I went on Metrodazinole for infection. A few weeks later, I called the doc and said I felt like I had an infection again. They prescribed Diflucan. I took it, felt somewhat better for a while, and then felt the infection had come back. They prescribed a second dose of Diflucan, which didn't help at all! Now I'm back on Metrodazinole again and it seems to be working. Perhaps if I had gone on a second dose of Metrodazinole and skipped the two doses of Diflucan, I'd be feeling okay down below now. (I'm having trouble sitting for any amount of time, plus it burns down below. I'm 8 weeks post-op.) Anyone else get the wrong meds? Aunt May
