estrogen levels?

My dr. says that I'm at the top level w/ estrogen. .1 v-dot, and .625 Estratest. Is this true? Thanks K. for the hormone chart.

estrogen levels?

Hi suzi! It's true that you are taking a lot of estrogen; however, some women need a lot. Younger women need more than older ladies; thinner women need more than heavier women; more active women need more than less active women. If you're under a lot of stress you'll need more than if you're not.

0.1 is the highest dosage of Vivelle dot; however, there are a few women around here who actually wear two of them. The estrogens in Estratest are much weaker than the estradiol in the Vivelle dot, so two Vivelle dot 0.1's would give you more estrogenic effect than what you're taking now.

Have you had your hormone levels tested to see if your estrogen and testosterone levels are within the normal ranges?

s,
-Linda
