This site is absolutely wonderful. I just wish I had known about it when I had my surgery last year. After reading through some of the messages, it is nice to know that there are others who are going through some of the same things I am. Since surgery I have felt that my 47 year old body has gone downhill. I have gone to see an allergist, a cardiologist, a pulmonoligist, a dermatcologist. and just yesterday, a surgeon. Later today I am going to see my gyneccologist to see if I am allergic to the stitches she used in my incision. If I am, does that mean I will have to undergo surgery to have them removed? Her nurse told me on the phone that some of them are permanent. It seems that acid reflux, palpitations, gall stones, asthma, and various allergies have come to the forefront of my life. In two weeks I am having my gallbladder removed, and hope this will help some. I am also working to cut down on the amount of hormones to see if this will help. I sound like a hypocondriac, but until my surgery I was rarely sick. Has anyone else experienced this trend of ailments post hyst?
