Oh, No...I've got Pneumonia!

Linda
Continue to rest & lay around the house. I hope you feet better so that you can finish your chemo. So good to have a 5 year old "nurse" to help you.

Thanks for all the good wishes...

...I'm resting and doing what I love best...QUILTING! I'm not feeling better yet, but I'm not feeling worse either. For me, it will just take time, rest, and breathing treatments.

I'm not very knowledgable about blood concerns, so I have a question. Will this hinder my ability to build up platelets? I'm still bruising about the same as a week ago. There's a bruise on my neck where the line from my port runs under the skin. I know that I absentmindedly rub it once in a while...would that produce a bruise?

I hope this will get better soon...I'm getting tired of red meat!

The other thing that's bothering me is my weight. It seems like I go up and down anywhere from 8-10 lbs. I never get up to go to the bathroom at night, but the night I started the antibiotics I got up 8 times to go. I was also sweating profusely during the night. In the morning, I had lost 8 lbs. since the morning before. Does that sound normal? I forgot to ask the nurse when I talked to her yesterday.

Well, off to rest and quilt.
