I'm thrilled that the reversal was uneventful and overjoyed that they didn't find any cancer!

But I think I just have to throw a bit of humor in here . . . because it's really funny that all these people you've never met are all really excited for you to be having a BM soon. And if you back up and think about it for a minute, that is just really hilarious. :-) Sometimes, you just have to laugh.

Sincerely, we really are all pulling for your bowels to start working properly soon. Best of luck with your healing, and we'll all be thinking about you!

I remember all too well when my DD was re-connected after her ileostomy (they removed her entire large intestine at two days of age). That first "poop" was certainly cause for a celebration!

But the real celebration is reserved for the best news of all -- CANCER-FREE!!!

Now it's time to remember all that Princess training, and take care of yourself. Here's hoping that first BM goes well -- and comes soon!
