Best Wishes to today's Princess

Thanks my friends. My :nose: looks like this :snort: The op went well, took the full 2 hours though. I must've been a real mess.

Overall I am doing okay. Still have alot of drainage so I have to stay in a reclining position alot. My throat is very sore, which is probably from the drainage and the tube that they put in there to keep as much blood as possible from reaching my belly. Tummy is rebelling from the drainage also.

I get the packing out this afternoon so hopefully I will start to feel better. It hurts to smile and to chew. I have to drink thru a straw because if I take too big of sips I feel like I am about to drown. I have to take all my pills one by one right now. That takes up my morning.

I've missed my sisters and being here.

(((Kim))) we have missed you, too! Sorry to hear the drainage is aggravating your tummy troubles. Hopefully that will stop pretty quickly. When the packing comes out, the DR may have you irrigating your nose with saline, which helps a lot. Are you on any pain meds? I was just for 2 days after mine (while the packing was in).

up, hope you're feeling much better soon!

Well...now that the packing is out I found out that I still have tubes in my :nose: Those will come out in another week. I'm a bit more comfortable but still draining and the throat is still pretty raw.

Linda, I do have to rinse the nose with saline and he also told me to rinse it with salt water. I made the mistake of tilting my head back the first time! Yuck!

Doc says no swimming and no major activities at least until the tubes come out. So I guess I get another week of pampering the princess.

Thanks Judy, big s and es back at ya' !

Hopefully I will be back to helping and supporting my sisters soon. My brain is still in a bit of a
