How long did your belly button hurt after a lap?

I'm a week post op, and While the steri-strips still haven't come off of my two other incisions, they no longer hurt. My belly button still really is sore however, andmy tummy is really tender to the left of my belly button. Anyone else have this? It is worse after eating. Should I give it a few more days or call doc?? I don't see any infection or anything like that. What do you all think?

How long did your belly button hurt after a lap?

I had a lap done years ago and my belly button pain lasted for quite awhile. I would get twinges of pain even at 2 months post op. You are fairly new in your recovery phase, but if you are concerned about it, I would see the Dr.- better to be safe than sorry as they say.

Good Luck

(((( hugs ))))

I had a lap in April. The belly button pain lasted longer.. .I think it was due to the location, it gets more activity... If it is really bad or looks abnormal, I would call the doc. But you can always call just to ease your mind.... Good luck to you!
