The results are in............................

I got results back from my colposcopy. And within the area that my doctor sampled it showed some cancer cells. I will be going in for a CT scan later this week to see if it has spread any further.

All I want to do is cry.........

I, for some reason, knew that is what the result would be. But, yet I didn't want to believe it. I wanted to believe that it was just radiation changes, and nothing more.

What to do??? I want to be strong. But how can I when this UGLY MONSTER has reared it UGLY head again.

Hi Jane....

I am soo sorry to hear that your results were not as good as you would have liked. Hopefully the ct scan will show nothing at all.

You ARE a strong woman and have always been there for all of us. This is just a small pothole in the journey. Hopefully it will be repaired quickly and easily.

Keep in touch.

Hi, Jane, and I'm so sorry that the results of the test were not what you had hoped for. How great is it, though, that you are being watched very carefully so that any unwanted developments such as this can be nipped in the bud.

I met an amazing woman at my second chemo treatment earlier this month. From time to time, over the 10+ years since her surgery for she's had to have treatment for cancer that has reared its ugly head. Obviously, it was tough for her going through it. But she had such a wonderful, positve and joy-filled attitude. She said (about her doctors), "I tell them that I'm going to keep coming until they get it right!!"

I agree totally with Rosalie. You ARE a strong woman. No wimp coud have ever gone through what you've been through already. And when you don't feel strong, come to us. We'll be strong for you until you can be feel strong again.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry your results were not good. Darn! Darn! Darn!
Now my fingers will be crossed that the CAT scan is clear and plan B is doable. You are a strong woman. One of the pillars of strength on CC.
I am confident that you will continue doing whatever needs to be done.
You are in my prayers.

Jane, I'm Sorry

the results weren't better. I'm also praying that the CT scan shows this is very localized. I know--when the beast rears its head again, it's horrible. Went through that last year with ovarian recurrence. How dare it come back after what I went through. Dr. and I talked, and I did 8 rounds of carboplatin and the beast went back to sleep. But that recurrence feeling is a tough one--if the world falls apart initially, it falls into more pieces on recurrence. So we just go forward with more treatment and glue things together. er and

Jane,

I am so sorry that cancer cells were found. I remember how I felt last Sept. when told that more tumor nodules were found in my small intestine, after getting the all clear just 6 weeks earlier
Hopefully this was caught at a very early stage and can be quicky zapped. Your faith is strong and God will get you thru this.
Love + prayers
