Glad to Be on the Other Side

Hi Ladies,
I am new to this site. I found it two months ago just before I had my TVH. I have been browsing the pre and post forums and have learned a great deal. My surgery was May 7 and I am today 7 weeks post op and feeling great. I was released from my gyn on Monday, June 16 and I am back at work now. I do a lot of sitting at work and it really wears out my bottom, but it's getting better. I just want to thank the sisters for all the information I obtained from them before surgery and after. I still check into this site everyday and I am still enjoying it. Once again thanks for being there. You have made my recovery a lot easier.

Hi!

I'm glad that you found HysterSisters and I am glad that we have been so helpful and encouraging to you!

Keep in mind that the initial recovery is 6-8 weeks but it can take many months to be completely healed. Keep pampering yourself and resting when you need to. Take care.
