Nerves are getting to me.

I had my pre-op visit with my doctor yesterday. My testing today.
Surgery is July 3rd. I'm getting a bit nervous. My Dr. said I should make out fine since I've had 3 c-sections. I'm having a TAH with a possible BSO. I know I will be glad when it's all over since I was bleeding 99.9% of the time for the past 10 years. Please say a prayer for me. This site has helped me so much. Thanks for being there.

Nerves are getting to me.

My surgery is 7-1. I try to keep thinking positive thoughts, like how skilled my doctor is and how much I love life and want to make it through all this.

I have grade 1 adeno carcinoma in the endometrium---do your doctors know why you are bleeding so much???

I keep reassuring myself that 100's of women go through this procedure every year and they come out ok.

Deep breathing and some yoga is helping me to stay calm.

Good luck, Alana

getting nervous

I think being very nervous is very normal. Hysterectomies are the second most common surgery performed on women, with C-sections being the first, that means that hysters are a common procedure and I am sure that all of our doctors have done this procedure hundreds of times!!! I am taking that as good news, at least I know I am in good hands!!

It really comforts me to read the stories of the ladies who have already had their surgery, so many say that the waiting was worse than the surgery!!

Please know that you are not alone, this is full of wonderful, caring and compassionate women who understand what we are going thru. Sending you a great big HUG!!

Nerves are getting to me.

(((((((((egglady))))))))

Praying peace & strength to you! God is in control (this I have to remind myself of often!).
My visit to the Castle in on July 1st, so I think I'm feeing some of the same jitters. I have found keeping busy helps to keep my mind off the big event. I know after the initial healing we're gonna feel great! I'm just looking forward to the relief from pain & inconvience too.
In one of the posts I read earlier this week someone pointed out the opportunity to buy & wear WHITE pants. They are on my shopping list for when the swelly-belly goes!!!!!!!

Hugs to you : )
