Here's a funny "lapo" story

Keep in mind.. I consider my OB my buddy... she's great.

During my last lap, they didn't give me loopy meds until I just got into the ER. The surgery started late and boy was I ansty. It was probably about 45 minutes past my "start time" and I wasn't anywhere near the OR. They had to put me into the schedule of another OR and it was a mess.

Anyway, I found myself sitting in another OR just kinda waiting for her. 1 or 2 nurses were in there w/ me, but I got nothing until they could find her.

Finally, she comes in and says to me "I've been looking for you everywhere! Where've you been?" I told her I that since I was so mobile, I decided to get a pedicure, go out for a drink and then I was just hiding from her." I guess they forgot to tell her they moved me to another OR!

We both had a good laugh.

Hi, thanks for the giggle, I do like to laugh. I think that a sense of humor can sometimes help in situations like that.
