Fistula Questions

I had a procedure today that diagonosed me as having a vesico vaginal fistula. I've had several complications since my TAH on 4/22. It started the day after surgery when I walked into the IV pole, hitting my stomach on the way back from the bathroom. I ended up with a hip to hip bruise that is still slightly there. Two weeks after my surgery my incision opened up while I was in bed due to infection. I had about a month of home health care coming in and cleaning and dressing my incision. The incision is almost closed now. On top of all of that I've been having a lot of problems with wetting myself day and night. Today I went to the hosp. and the doc is saying I have a fistula. I think they suspected it but today it was confirmed. The doctor I saw does not have a lot of experince with this and based on what he said I will probably have to go out of state for treatment. I'm worried sick because I just don't know how I can go through another surgery. I'm single and live alone and was very fortunate during the recovery of my hys to have such good friends to help me out. I just would like to know what to expect....recovery time...what the surgery involves and will it get worse if I wait...I just don't feel up to another surgery at this time. Any answers would be appreciated
