Thank God for Hyster Sisters!!!

Thanks to all for all the good advice. I asked earlier about going to Walmart, and got lots of nooooos.....so I was a good little princess. Believe it or not my Dr. was the one to suggest me taking a little stroll around in WalMart. I listened instead to my fellow shut ins, and strolled to my next door neighbors house. I have been cold all day, and all of a sudden now I can't get cool enough. Got sweat on my upper lip and everything. Good thing I was close to home. Couldn't wait to get back in the front door and start throwing off some clothes. I'm safe and sound now in my comfy clothes, just still having a little pain on that left side. Also a little itchy today. Is this all normal?

Bless you for all the advice and help

Thank God for Hyster Sisters!!!

Hi mypally,

You are still early in your recovery, so I'm glad that the Walmart bug didn't get you as it has so many Princesses before you! I'm glad that you were close to home when you started to peel those clothes; it could've caused quite a stir in the store !

I used to feel kind of itchy around my incision, especially as my recovery progressed. My Dr. said it was from nerves regenerating. If you are feeling itchy all over, it could be an allergic reaction to something and you should call your Dr.

Be sure you continue to get lots of and exercise in the form of frequent short s to tolerance. Your stamina and strength should slowly but steadily increase as your recovery progresses.

Best wishes and s
