Tomorrow is my big day, popped in to say hi

I posted a while back.
Have since been keeping the pre-op board busy.
Have had a lot to happen since I last posted to you ladies, My Mom passed away last week the 23. :-(

Surgery has been bumped around a few times and I am going in the morning.
At my pre-op today my Dr said he thought it best to remove both ovaries, given my age and past history. I will be on the premarin[sp?] patch.

To update: he said a gyn oncoligst would be on stand by, also
spec. for bowel, liver, bladder, you name it. So that did give me some comfort knowing that.
He will do frozen section of L ovary & cyst while I am under and the rest of all [doing a radical hist] would be sent to path for report and he would have report back around next Mon or Tues.

Just wanted to touch base with all of you and let you know all of you are in my prayers.
I will post when I am up to it and let you know what was found.
Looking and hoping for a good report.

Hi, Debbie withope (I love that name!).

First, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I hope it was peaceful for her.

I also want to let you know that thoughts/prayers are with you. Seems like all is in place for a successful procedure. Hope you get nothing but good news and let us know how you are doing as soon as you can. If you've been on the pre-op board, then you've heard all the advice! Lots and lots of rest, fluids. Don't push yourself to do more than you can... you'll only regret it.

Good luck and God bless.
