Granulation

I have had 5 silver nitrate treatments in as many months and still have the discharge. Dr. says when he goes in to snip my bladder sling on the 22nd he will take further action for the granulation. Anyone else have this much trouble?

Granulation

Hi Cindy,

I had granulation but in my case one treatment took care of the problem. However, I did want to stop by and give you some s and let you know that I will be that all goes well on the 22nd. Please keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.

Granulation

Cindy,

I just went for my 6 week post op and was told I had a lot of scar tissue. Dr said the top of my vagina has healed like so /\ but should be --- (you can tell I am no artist..lol) He applied the silver nitrate and said if it does't disolve the granulation then I will have to go back into the castle and have it removed

He also said to put off having intercourse for another 2 weeks. I asked him how I would know if the silver nitrate worked, he said you will know because there will be no pain during intercourse!
I really didn't want to hear that because now I am more scared of trying it than I already was.

I have had such as easy and painfree recovery, that this has really knocked me back emotionaly. I thought I was going to be given the "all clear".

I am starting back work tomorrow and instead of thinking all this is behind me, I am thinking, when will it ever end.

Good Luck and I hope you find closure soon.

granulation

I also had surgery Nov 2002, 3 silver nitrate sessions, and really debating how many more I should have. I have a week or so that I am dry and OK and then I have a day of a slight yellow discharge. My doctor says I do not have an infection. Will this go away on its own or should I op to a sedation and be "cleaned" out for good. The other sessions were very painful and I was awake. I can not find information on granulation and do not know much except what my doctor has told me. My doctor is 130 miles away and I hate to make an appointment unless I really need to. She says to call her if something is not right. I'm not sure if it is or isn't. I would like to know where to search or other experiences. Please e-mail me at [email protected]
