Feeling better everyday, but have a question?

Hi all! I am now 12 days post-op from my adhesion removal/bowel resesection and finally beginning to feel like myself again! My incisions are healing really well, the lap incisions are actually getting itchy, which I take as a good sign. The "big" incision is of course numb, but from what I can see looks really good. I see my doctor tomorrow for my post op appt and hopefully he'll be able to tell me when I can get back to work. My "insides" are more sore than anything else, like someone has been using me for a punching bag, I don't remember being this sore after my hyst! I do have a question for you ladies tho, I was feeling along my incision last night (yuck!) and noticed that it is very thick and ropey feeling, which I didn't have the first time. Is this from scar tissue, or just because my doc re-cut right along my hyster incision when he did the bowel resection? Just feels kinda weird, not smooth like it was the first time. I'll of course mention it to my doc tomorrow when I see him. Take Care all, and as always thank you for your input...
