new hrt seems to be helping

Last time I posted I was having a very hard time with hot flashes, night sweats, and lack of sleep. Well, changed me over from Climara to Estratest and I am feeling so much better. I am sleeping a whole lot more and not having as many hot flashes as before, the night sweats are all but gone. I have gotten my old appetite back and that is not good. I had lost 13 lbs. and have gained back about half that .

That patch was almost impossible to keep on, so I am glad to switch over to a pill.

I am feeling so much better. Each day is nicer than the next. My emotions are not as extreme either. I am still down about my dh who moved out last year and won't say whether he wants a divorce or not. I feel angry and hurt by him and all that has happened. My son is also being hurt by this and I feel like I can't do much about it. I am in limbo in that situation, but I am confident that all will turn out well because I know that the Lord is in control.

Thanks to those who made this place possible, I have made new friends and since I am an only child, I actually feel like I have a bunch of sisters to discuss things with. Cindy sends s

Hi there,

So glad you found something that works for you. Isn't it great to get some relief? It will get better as your body adjusts to the hormones.

I am sorry to hear about your separation with dh. I will for you and your son that you will be able to handle whatever happens with this situation. Take care and feel better.

hi cindy thanks for letting us know about your new hrt..i'm so pleased you are feeling better!

i'm sorry to hear about your dh situation...i know it's tough...i divorced my first dh after 20 yrs of marriage...but i must tell you that there comes a time that you will have to make decisions for yourself and your future, rather than hang on to someone else's decisions. i say that with love and 's i live a new life now, with a wonderful dh (10 yrs after divorce) and i couldn't be happier...my children are happier too. i know what you mean about our sisters here, i am the only girl in my family-with 4 brothers!!! hang in there hon, and know that your sisters are here for you. love, cynthia
