cancer by any other name...

Well, I finally had my first post-op apt after my doctor telling me I had uterine cancer. What he told me, what I heard probably were not the same. To make a long story short, instead of the M_________ adenosarcoma I thought he said I had, I actually have edometrial carcinoma. This is better. Well defined and not very deep. I guess that means stage 1. I still have to see a radiation oncologist but there's a good possibility I won't have to go through with that. Thanks for bearing with me, especially Lena who answered personally. I was pretty much a numb basket case during the last almost two weeks of waiting for this apt.
