Dont know how much more I can take!!

I am soooo tired and have been on the toilet for almost an hour doing my normal routine of rocking, moving my legs, getting up, sitting back down just to have a BM. This morning is somewhat different though. Usually after and hour I am either done or almost done and I have barely gone at all so far this morning but FEEL it in there. I know I have to have a BM because when I push a little comes out and I also am having the poop pains (sorry girls). I am on fiber and stool softeners and my bm's are almost runny now but wont come out! :hair:I can NOT stent because for one my belly is too big to get around, second, it hurts my hernia to bend like that, and the BIG one is my back pain..

As most of you know I have rectocele and cystocele and all of this does not help my roids or my back AT ALL, not to mention my hernia and the pushing I have to do is making it bigger every day.

The past few mornings I have gotten up I have noticed that my hips are KILLING me and I have a very hard time moving. NOW I KNOW this could possibly be due to not moving for a few days since being confined to my couch, but I felt it before now too..

I have read some posts that talk about rectocele causing back pain and wonder what that pain feels like as opposed to my back pain. If you all with rectocele that have back pain AND the ones of you that had it and it was resolved with rectocele repair could describe the back pain and do you or did you have hip pain from it??..

Thanks again sisters for all of your help and support!!

Dont know how much more I can take!!

I have not had a rectocele so I can't help with that. Myabe you've eaten something that has made you constipated today. I am pretty regular, with diarhea like stools in the morning, but the last few days I've been pretty stopped up .

Of course, if this really concerns you please do call the I'm sending s and hopes that you go soon. I know how uncomfortable constipation is.

Dont know how much more I can take!!

S Pam,

Like ((Kim)) I have not had a rectocele so I can't help with that...But I do suffer from severe constipation In fact yesterday I had an appointment with a GI doc because it can be 4 or 5 days before I am able to actually go...when I do, I could almost pass out. It's strange because they aren't exactly hard. Geez, what some people take for granted eh?! I'm hoping this GI doc will be able to help me. She also prescribed a med for spasms, which hopefully will help with the pain. I haven't picked them up yet, so I can't even tell you what it is called.

I think it would be a good idea to give your doc a call. Do you have a GI doc? Please let us know....S

Dont know how much more I can take!!

Hi Pam, so sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble. I had a rectocele after my hyst and can tell you that I had awful low back pain before I got it repaired, it was just right above my butt and it was all the way across my back, after I was up and moving around it would get really bad to where I couldn't stand up straight anymore and would have to bend over with my hands on my knees to help with it. I also got hip pains that I assumed were from the pulling on my lower back. Now that I have had the repair I don't have that lower pain anymore at all. I hope this offers you some encouragment, it does get better after the repair.

Thank you all for the replies!!

Today has been a VERY weird day for me!!!

After struggling with not being able to go this morning and the constant stomach cramps that kept me running to the bathroom and getting NO WHERE I just went in there and felt a REALLY strong urge to go AGAIN. Well I sat there and sat there trying not to strain and I thought I would grab a suppository from the cabinet behind me, well when I turned around and I was pretty much sitting on one butt cheek I finally went in that position. It was watery diarreah and still had a hard time feeling like I went all of the way. I NEVER get constipated and know this is NOT constipation.

The weird thing is that I had to sit like that to go. Now I am having pelvic pain that is going down the front of my legs and it is alot stronger than it has been the past few weeks. Almost like it hurt before my adhesion removal. I am praying that this is all linked somehow and one problem fixed with fix the others.

I know ALL of my back pain will not be gone after the repair because of my herniated discs, but I am praying SOME of it will!!

Thanks again and I am so sorry to be so graphic!! It IS however soo nice to be able to talk about this stuff with someone..

OH, no I dont have a GI Dr but will be requesting a referral soon!!

Thanks again sisters!!

Hi, Pam,
sorry you're having this problem. Has your doc considered the possibility that you may have more adhesions constricting the bowels? Have you been nauseaus with it? Also, narcotic pain meds can cause constipation.
You do need to see a GI Doc and he'll probably do a C-scope to see if any blockage or constriction.
I hope you go as soon as possible. If it gets worse, you might consider going to the ER.
Hope you get it taken care of soon. Let us know how you're doing.
